The palm of an electronic pressure device is the part of a blood pressure measuring device that is placed around the arm. The palm is made of rubberized fabric covered with a layer of adhesive. The Palm has a tube that blows air inside to measure blood pressure.
How to use the palm of an electronic compression device
To measure blood pressure using an electronic pressure monitor, follow these steps:
- Clean and dry the arm.
- Place the palm around the arm so that the upper part of the palm is at the level of the heart.
- Fasten the palm tightly using the attached straps.
- Press the start button on the blood pressure monitor.
- The sphygmomanometer will pump air into the palm until it feels a constant pressure.
- The sphygmomanometer will stop pumping air and will display a blood pressure reading.
Size guidelines for the palm of an electronic pressure device
Baby : 7-13cm
Kids: 10-19cm
Middle : 18-26 CM
Large : 25-35cm
Extra large : 33-47cm
Very, very large : 49-66cm
Important note: the connection at the end of the tube does not come with the palm, please keep it from the old palm and put it in the tube for the new palm when replacing
